Is your information
ready for AI?

AI needs more than a license. It needs structured, current and permission-controlled information — otherwise it hallucinates or responds based on wrong data. We build the foundation that Copilot, agents and future AI need.

Intelligent Information Management — the discipline that makes AI useful.

IIM is the international term for next-generation information management. It's not a product — it's a way of working based on the premise that information is strategic capital that should be AI-ready.

IIM
Intelligent Information Management

Combining method, structure and technology so that the organization's information becomes useful for both humans and AI — with traceability, permission control and security as the foundation.

Why most AI projects fail.

Organizations buy AI licenses, launch Copilot and expect a productivity revolution. But when AI meets messy information, three problems arise immediately.

Hallucinations and wrong answers

AI without a reliable information base invents answers that sound convincing but are wrong. Users lose trust and stop using the tool.

Permission leakage

When AI accesses information it shouldn't see — salaries, personal data, confidential contracts — security and GDPR incidents arise.

Fragmented silos

AI that only sees part of reality gives partial answers. Information in email chains, OneDrive folders and side systems never reaches the model.

Five levels of AI maturity.

Based on established frameworks from Gartner, McKinsey and AI Sweden. Most Swedish companies are at level 2 — individuals experiment, but the organization has no structured plan.

01

Ad-hoc

Individual employees use AI themselves. No strategy, no structure, no governance.

02

Experimentation

Pilot projects run but don't scale. Data foundation and security are lacking. Results are inconsistent.

03

Structured

AI is used deliberately in selected processes. Information foundation and permissions are in place.

04

Integrated

AI is a natural part of the business. Agents handle complex flows across system boundaries.

05

Transformed

AI drives the business model. The organization is reshaped around intelligent information flows.

Four building blocks for AI maturity.

Regardless of your current level — we start with your information foundation and build upward. Here's what we work with.

01 Data foundation

AI-ready information structure

We map where your information lives, structure it according to common patterns and ensure it is searchable, version-controlled and permission-managed.

02 Security

Permission-controlled AI access

Role-based permissions that follow into the AI interaction. A salesperson only sees what a salesperson may see — even when AI responds.

03 Integration

Copilot, agents and private GPT

We connect your information foundation to Microsoft Copilot, agent platforms and your own language model if you've chosen that path — securely and traceably.

04 Governance

Governance and oversight

Policies for AI usage, logging of interactions, quality assurance of responses and continuous improvement. Compliance-ready from day one.

What you typically wonder about.

Do you sell AI licenses or Copilot?+
Partly. We sell what makes AI licenses actually useful: structured information, security, integrations and governance. Microsoft and others develop the tools — we help you extract value from them.
How long does an AI maturity journey take?+
Moving from level 2 to level 3 typically takes 6-12 months. Longer journeys to levels 4-5 are 2-3 year programs rolled out in stages. We always start with a pilot where the benefit is clearest.
We already have Copilot — do we still need you?+
Having Copilot is step one. Step two is ensuring Copilot reaches the right information in the right way. Many organizations discover that Copilot doesn't deliver as expected — it's almost always because the information foundation isn't ready. That's where we come in.
What's the difference between IIM and traditional Information Management?+
IIM is AIIM's official evolution of Information Management for the AI era. The difference is that IIM assumes information should not only be searchable by humans — it should be readable by AI systems in a secure and permission-controlled way. The method, structures and governance are different.
How do we do a first AI maturity assessment?+
Contact us and we'll run a workshop where we go through your information landscape, your ongoing AI initiatives and your security model. Based on that, you get an assessment on the five-level scale and a prioritized action plan — usually taking two to four weeks.
